I had a prehistoric old gobbler at 35 yards today. He pulled the old gobble that sounds like it's coming from a different direction, I caught him moving and was waiting for him to walk in front of the sights when a hen almost ran into me. I never saw or heard the b^&ch, but I darn sure felt like shooting her.
That sucks. Keep after it It'll happen.
Had more hens in the zone this year than any other. Never towing a gobbler though.
That will motivate you more to go get that gobbler for sure.
Keep on em and good luck. Don't feel bad, I got hosed twice this season and ended up birdless. :'(

That sucks!! The hens were definitely my nemesis this year as well. Screwed me many a morning. If you guys have a fall season, you need to take some of those beyotches out!! :fud:
