870 youth with the Sumtoy 562-5 and FedHW 7s at 30 and 40 yards. 240 hits and 157 hits in the 10"

Dr Juice

Wow. The head is going to fly off at 30-yds. Awesome patterns. Good luck.

Gumby

Ya. Pretty tight at 30! I'll have to aim small lol

SteelerFan

Nice! I'm going with the same set up. Hoping for similar results.

Gumby

Is 155 a good average for the 870 youth 20 and Fed 7s with the Sumtoy? First year shooting the Feds in the 20 gauge. I'm very pleased with the results from William's choke. Didn't know if there was room for improvement

yella yelper

Yes that is good. I was getting 135-140 with that combo

Full strut

I have the same setup,  just waiting to pattern it

Stumpy225

Hoping mine throws that well. Find out this weekend

turkeykiller41

I am shooting same gun different choke I am shooting rsf lead only and averaging 150s in 10 inch at 40 yds.

The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

it's not the harvest,it's the chase

Shellwaster

@Gumby have you had any other work done to the gun to be able to get these numbers? Or is it just a plain, factory gun and Sumtoy choke?

Gumby

Just plain factory gun and Sumtoy choke. It has been deep cleaned prior to this patterning session.
