Sitting at home sick and bored. Just curious to see some of the favorite horns you guys own. Post a picture and who made it etc.
My favorite was made by my good buddy Seth Hamon. It's a mud cured Osage with mammoth mouth piece and accents.
Here's a picture. Let's see yalls. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240124/0daeeed8246890c03a6712fc4bc76519.jpg)

This one is special for many reasons, craftsmanship, ease of use, and especially where the blank came from...Bott adjustable.

Although I think I have some very good yelpers made by some of the finest call makers, I am very fond of the Marlin Watkins yelper with hen bone mouthpiece. I have some new one I bought here recently that just might beat this one out. I've called a few birds in with this caller for sure.

This question is easier, lol. Dont make me pick my calls. :OGturkeyhead: Z
Started out with, and have been hunting a wingbone since I was a kid. Was fortunate to meet two of the best players to ever play, in the woods around 7 years ago while hunting. They turned me on to a 6.5 Osage from one of the ol boys father. That Buice is all I have ever needed since.

I think I know who you met, and yes, they are a turkey killing duo, and one of them is the best on a trumpet, that I've ever met. and glad to call both friends.
I purchased a Mun Ebony trumpet last year from Jeremy Simpson. I'm still, and will always be a novice caller, but that trumpet makes even me sound good. Truly one-of-a-kind.

Osage/Buffalo horn has more responses than my other trumpets combined. It was so green when I got it I thought it resembled a sprite can! It has aged very well. My first one that Greg Gwaltney got me is as beautiful as they come, and that's the one that got me hooked. I have acquired different calls since these but until they sit on a turkeys back like this one, I can't call them favorites.

Beautiful call! He had one just like it at Unicoi but he was only allowing one call per person, which was fair, and I went with a Royal Ebony instead. The one that got away.
I've got it narrowed down to three.
Nice trio..
Three very nice yelpers indeed.
