Trying out some new loads this year. What are you guys shooting down the barrel's this year?
This is a 2 3/4 1 5/8 oz TSS #9's. There's a lot of damage in this little shell.

how in the world did you get 1.625 oz of #9 in a 2 3/4" shell? I am shooting that same load in a 3"...now that I think about it we might have used a spacer...
2oz of #9.5's TSS here. :drool:

yep...you got it.
Nothing wrong with those Hevi #7's. Once the initial cost of all the supplies is paid, loading TSS for turkeys is not too much, and it's a pretty fun hobby.
I hunted to entire season last year with #6 lead
I'm going to hunt with #4 lead this year
Federal Heavyweight #7's, 3" is what I will be shooting.
I got a good even pattern at 40 with that so I am confident that anything 40 in is dead :newmascot:
