So I shot a bird with ivory white spurs but now after drying them a few days the tips are turning black and the whites more of a brown. Is there anyway to bleach the spur when it's done to bring back the color when I shot it? Or should I just save the photo and place it next to the spurs because there's no way to bring the color back?
how about nail polish?
I use bees wax and it restores the color fairly well, removes any scaly look. Just depends on how you prep them.
Boiled Linseed Oil
Could you post a pic of them from when you killed? I know of a few ways to bring color out, but from what I see most spurs a a worn white-ish layer to clean up and there color is bellow that layer.
I get a few ivory spurs
