Those that use polyacrylic what us your application process? Ive been foam brusing minr on the lathe but im not happy with the results is there a trick to this?

Finish sand your pot to your desired grit on the lathe.  I go to 400.  Using an air touch gun, spray your pot.  I use a dowell in one of the sound holes.  Set aside for 24 hours.  Depending on raised grain, I start off with 320 and sand, since the vast majority of my calls are stabilized.  Unstabilized wood, I have more raised grain so I start with 220.  Spray again, and set aside for another 24 hours.  Final sand with 400, inscribe and do artwork, then final spray.  Then set aside again and forget it for about a week to let the 3 coats firm up hard.  Then glue up.
