I was wanting to try and make some calls for fun.  Where is the best place to get precut pots?  Shipley's, Brookside or some where else?

Thanks in advance for the advice.

noisy box call that seems to sound like a flock of juvenile hens pecking their way through a wheat field

I'll tell ya, I've never bought a precut pot, but I buy most of my sound boards and surfaces from Brookside and Grassy Creek. Usually my slate and glass from brookside and metal from Grassy Creek. If I was gonna buy a precut pot just to play with us probably go with Brookside. Good group of guys over there and I've had good experience with my orders.

there's a seller on ebay that goes by crgamecalls (cross roads) that sells kits that have everything you need if you don't actually want to do any wood working.  basically you just glue it together and finish it.  i did one last year for fun and it actually turned out pretty nice.  i think it was less than $15.
