Just saw the reviews on it , nice looking 410 with 26 inch barrel and screw in chokes, stock spacers .. it comes with x full and mod. choke . Alum rail. 154 dollars on Gun broker .. The one Rural King has for 119 isn't the same gun.

I just purchased the Rossi Tuffy Turkey (26" barrel, .410, picatinny rail) for my son to use this season.  I will be putting a Vortex Crossfire red dot on it.

With all the closings and working remotely, I should have plenty of time in the next week or two to see how it patterns.

I mounted the Crossfire this afternoon and plan to deep clean the barrel and bore sight the red dot tomorrow.

I deep cleaned and polished the barrel today and will be getting it sighted in tomorrow.  I'll post a picture of the pattern with the factory x-full choke.

I'm not disappointed with the results, in fact I'm going to tote it when my son doesn't.

Does anyone know the Length of pull on the rossi tuffy? I'm looking to get my 8 year old either a 301 stevens or the rossi but i can't find a LOP measurement for the Rossi anywhere.

From the back of the trigger guard, which is ~ 1" forward of the receiver/stock connection, the LOP is 10.5" with the stock spacer removed.  I didn't measure the stock spacer but it seems to be 2.5-3" long.  The gun fits my 8.5 year old son with the spacer removed.

There are no instructions in the manual to remove the stock spacer.  Remove the buttplate (not a pad), locate and unscrew the only 2 screws, then reattach the buttplate.

I made a bone-head mistake.  When I mounted the red dot I cleaned every screw and thread before using loctite, except the base.

Got home after patterning the other day and noticed the mistake, so I removed everything and repeated the mounting process including the base.

Took the opportunity to bring a few more guns for my son and I to shoot.  Got the Tuffy back and ended up shooting a better pattern.  I'd say the average count between the 2 days would be in the mid to upper 140's.

Colt wanted to shoot a "super shell" so I let him take a shot with the TSS at the shoot-n-see target.  The wind was blowing so it wasn't as tight but had plenty of margin of error if he or the bird moved.

Will upload pictures once I figure out the issue I'm having with uploading images.

How are you and your son liking the crossfire sight?
Can the bead be used with scope mount installed, or does it have to be removed??Can it be removed?

He loves any gun with a red dot.  I have a couple other Crossfires on different rifles so he is confident with one.

You would need to remove the base to see the bead if you look down the barrel.

New pictures as promised:
