Title: NEF 10ga and Magblend
Post by: woodchip on March 15, 2012, 08:54:58 PM
I got my hands on two boxes of HeviShot 10ga magblends about two weeks ago.  I polished the barrel Monday using the JB/kroil/scotchbrite method, and done some patterning today.  I shot it off sandbags at 40yds(rangefinder) swabbed it out in between shots.  It put 202 in a 10" circle at the measured 40 yds.  It is a good pattern but my 870 SM puts 212 in 10 at 40yds so it's not as good as I hoped but it would hammer a turkey.  Sorry,  but I didn't mess with any pics it wasn't anything to brag about.
