I am looking to buy a custom hand made pot call. I prefer slate. I have a woodhaven cherry classic, and also a preston pittman slate over glass that was made for a local NWTF banquet. I'm just looking for one of those good looking, good sounding hand made calls. What names should I be looking for?

Others you could try would be Ed Jenkins, Lonnie Sneed, Clint Corder, Paul Platz just to name a few.
Sounds like he wants it this year. Platz is out if that's case.
You can't go wrong with hot hen and outlaw hen from Lonnie Sneed. Trust me !!!
Don't need it this year. Season is over in Arkansas and I'm not going out of state this year.
Lonnie Sneed, Gary Anderson, Bill Lyman, and Glen Marrer make some of the best slate calls I have run.

well than you have more options but some of the guys are a year out.
