Title: SBE II 3.5" Hevi Shot Hevi 13 blend and #7s 40
Post by: tgturkeytaker on November 30, 2015, 10:23:10 PM
I tried many loads, many years in many guns. My new SBE II 3.5" is simply the best patterning and shooting shotgun that I have ever seen, at least that I have shot. The SBEII is really kind to the shoulder, and the pattern as you can see is simply lethal.  I have taken several spring and fall birds with it....and while my old 870 Remington took many turkeys with Hevi Shot #5s, it was the 3.5" Hevi 13 loads that made me stop and see if I could repeat the pattern each time....I could.
I use the Hevi 13 Choke tube.
Here is an example of Hevi 13 with my favorite - Hevi #7s....

Doubt I ever switch....but if I did, it would be to Hevi-Shot Blend which almost patterns as well as #7s.

:icon_thumright: thats a great pattern for sure, my SBE2 loves the H13 6's and 7's also. I'm using a Rob Roberts .660 choke in mine. What choke are you using ?
