Will everyone excuse me if I brag a bit on my wife?

It's just been such a pleasure to watch as she's developed into a world class shooter.
Thanks,
Clark
Congrats. :turkey2:
:icon_thumright: congrats to your wife !
CONGRATULATION TOO HER AND YOU ... BETTER LUCK IN THE FUTURE :icon_thumright:
I appreciate your positive comments and you indulgence. Doris is just such a consistent shooter. The same thing, the same way, every time. The real key to success.
It was a great shoot. I managed to shoot a 37, 39, 44 and a 45. Those are the 3" scores at 40 yards and most years, those scores would have been the high scores for the shoot and that 45 actually topped the previous hunter class world record.
It was just not to be this year. Bobby Sears shooting JEB's choke scored a 54 for a new world record. Just amazing.
Thanks again,
Clark
Congrats to your better half.
Awesome!!! Congrats to both of you!!
:you_rock: :you_rock: :you_rock: congrats !!!!!
Congrats to both of you! :happy0064: :happy0064:
Clark,
Congrats to both of you. Did Doris use a bolt action this time instead of her 870 pump? Have you gone to a bolt action or even the Mossberg that you have been getting good numbers with?
Congratulations to both of you!
Thank you all so much.
Clark
Outstanding!!
Congratulations! What shell was she shooting?

Congratulations to Doris!
And to you. Sounds like you had it dialed in too. 45?!?! Wow!
54 is stunning. :z-dizzy:
Well done Doris. Congrats to you and your great hubby Clark. :z-winnersmiley:
Thank you again.
We shot Hevi-13 shotshells. Doris shot 1.25 oz. #6 shot in 20 gauge and I shot 2 oz. #6 in 12 gauge.
The weather was indeed "challenging", both from the temperature variations, the wind and the driving rain that literally soaked us and all of our equipment.
I've never seen scopes get so wet for so long. We'd have to dry off the lens just before we shot.
I talked to some of the NWTF staff members that were not involved in the shoot and they marvelled that we just kept on shooting in the wind and rain. The show must go on.
Thanks again,
Clark
Congratulations to the both of you! That's an awesome achievement and something to be proud of for sure!
Congrats to Doris and you. An accomplishment like that is worth being proud of........
Congratulations!!!

very well done :happy0064: :happy0064: :icon_thumright:
I've told Doris about your posts and she appreciates them very much as do I. We just got back from a birthday trip for her to Gatlinburg. Just a little time off to kick back and enjoy being together. We used to go there a lot before our sons were born, hiked the mountains and spent the night in cabins on the mountain tops. This was an easier trip but very enjoyable.
Thanks again,
Clark
