Title: Mossberg SA410
Post by: erikmcgarrh on February 18, 2022, 06:44:35 PM
Just got one today, seems like a nice solid gun, is anyone using one of these and how well does the factory choke shoot ?  What constriction is the factory?

Factory choke isn't bad, I believe it's a .385 constriction? I went with a jebs full in mine, was just a touch better

I got one last year. Bought a FFIII protector on here with same camo pattern. Got a comp=n-choke

Recently bought one myself, mounted a red dot on it and shot it today for the first time.
Used an IC390 with TSS 9.5 ,pattern was good at 40 yds. Definitely dead bird. Would like to try a tighter
Choke as I think it would tighten up the pattern some.
Gonna try to find a .380 or .385 would like to compare. Sweet shooter though.

How'd it do with the comp n choke ? The .385 cnc did great in my Stevens.
