Title: South Central Indiana
Post by: cjmay13 on April 27, 2016, 06:33:31 PM
Seems like half of the guys I talked to today were covered up in birds and the other half didn't hear a single peep or saw anything.  Unfortunately my buddy and I were in the latter part of that.  Also, didn't see a single bird in any of the fields on the way home.  Usually see at least 2-3 on the drive home.  We even had an owl hanging out in a tree ten yds from us and he was trying to help out all he could too!

I went down last weekend to do a little scouting saw 4 hens in 4 different fields. I dont know what that means. Did not hear any gobbles. One of my buddies was down in Owen Putnam today mushroom hunting and said he could hear them gobbling in the ravines........
