My buddy is coming down today and season starts tomorrow. He is dead set on a jellyhead. I need to know the 1 shell that this choke consistently shoots best for you guys. We will have time to pattern the gun, but not the funds and time to try different combos. P.S. I do have a mad max 680 laying around he can use if the jellyhead isn't that good.
Jakes are like scotch. They are not worth a darn until they age.

The Hevi-13 3.5" 2 and 1/4oz #7's has been the best I have found. That MAD Max .680 should out shoot the Jelly Head. But the Jelly Head will shoot very well with this same load.

I used to shoot the Winchester HV 2oz #5's with my JH and it is a killer combo. I have since switched to the Hevi-13 2 1/4 oz #7's with a tighter choke. But with the .690 and the Win loads you cant go wrong.
