I just received "The Calling" and 1 of Hoots box calls.
Both are exceptional and I've had the book in my hand for over an hour. This man is multi talented as a writer and a call maker , not to mention 1 of the nicest gentleman I talked turkey with.

Congrats on your book and call... I just recently got 3 new books on deer hunting: Writers : Kathy Etling, Hal Blood and Richard Combs ... Lots of good information in all 3 of these books ... Reading a good book with your favorite beverage is hard to beat in my opinion ....
Well .... my beverage this morning was my morning coffee .... and I sat in my chair until I read his book from front to back. Its been a long time since I was compelled to not put a book down . "The Calling" is quite a good read... so much so that 1 will be ordering 3 more for each of my GF's grandchildren in hopes that they will take time to sit and read a little.
