Title: Tree ID..Help

This tree fell today in my neighors yard. I have looked at all hickory trees that I know of around here but the leaf puzzles me..The tree is hollow from stump to about 6 ft in air about 16 inches across trunk.

It's a type of Hickory. We call them pig nuts.

Good deal..There are several types of Hickory trees..Hard to beat em for early squirrel season..thats if you squirrel hunt I guess. Limbs are already bouncing here in the yard. Tree rats are having a field day :icon_thumright:
