LOL! I listened to Shawn on here and finally bought me a Pure Gold .670 for my 835. I have been wanting one for awhile after looking at some of you guys patterns. But bird posting the ones he posted lately with his Pure Gold put the icing on the cake if you know what I mean.

What I want to see, is your Pure Gold and Stardot patterns side by side when you have time to shoot them. I have a 835 and LOVE the pattern I'm getting with the Pure Gold but I want to acquire a Stardot to see if the Stardot will beat my Pure Gold.

i really want to try one out of my stoeger, i got an IC this year and really like it but still would love to see what the PG does out of it. wish they were a bit cheaper on the wallet though (not that they are not worth it just more then i have at the moment.)

Well if it gets here in the mail tomorrow I will show you some patterns. I plan on going shooting tomorrow.
Ok men this bad boy finally got here. I am really impressed with the quality of this choke. The inside finish is beautiful. And it's a thick beefy choke. Heading to shoot in just a moment. Wish me luck.

And some guy I was shooting with out at the range got ink pen happy on my pattern. That's why the other circle is there. He was amazed. I almost told him stop. I started counting outside my circle but deducted them. 357 shot is the correct count.
I got to go count some more shot. :lol:
And I will post this one here for guys that think 3' loads will out pattern the heavier 3.5" loads. The 835 always does better with the bigger payloads.

Well you should of seen my 3.5" #6 pattern from the Pure Gold. I won't even bother posting it. It was a joke. The MAD Max pattern smoked the Pure Gold with the 6's. But I know some guys say they get great patterns with a the Pure Gold with Hevi-13 #6's. It's weird how that works.

I'll bet it wasn't even 180.
I shot one shot through the Pure Gold with the Hevi-13 3.5" 2 and 1/4oz #6 load and it was terrible. I shot one shot with the same load through the MAD Max .680. Nite and day difference. I'm a big believer in a great choke showing itself from the get go. The Pure Gold showed itself with the 7's on the very first shot. Go look at my MAD Max pattern. It was superb!
