Title: Something new for me!
Post by: BigGobbler on March 13, 2014, 12:18:05 PM
Going to try this cypress copper over glass call I just finished today this weekend. I have some second thoughts tho cause I never have been a glass or metal call user. To me ya just can not beat a good slate call sound. Guess we will see if the turkeys like it.

Sounds really good to me. I like your drawn out yelps that you do. That is a sound I get from a lot of NY hens. Very cool!

I am trying to get those longer yelps with the high front end note on my new glass call. just cant get it. Any tips on how to strike the call. I have never really used friction calls before. This is only my second year really getting into turkey hunting.

I like the sound of that call for sure, and it has proven itself :)
