Title: 1300 20 Gauge Project Gun
Post by: Spring Creek Calls on June 25, 2016, 06:38:34 PM
Shot the new project gun (1300 20 gauge) yesterday with a couple different chokes and loads. The picture below was the best using a Carlson .575 with Hvwyt 7's. Also shot Hevi 6's and Magnum Blends and an Undertaker .582. Still wanna try something in the .560 range.

If you plan to stop at 40 yards, looks to me like you've got a good enough pattern already. Nice to have something a bit better for those days we misjudge but still, it's a good pattern.

You are absolutely right, 40 yards max on this pattern. I've got one more tube to try in the .560 range that I think will get those extra 5+ yards for a woopsie.
