I discovered I love gardening. Was just in the yard looking at what was returning. Some of the herbs. Thyme, chives, sage starting to come back. Strawberries and rhubarb sprouting through the ground. Waiting for the asparagus to return. Bought a house last year and didn't realize previous owners planted asparagus. By the time I realized that it was too late so just let them go to seed. Not going to happen this year!
Probably buy some starter tomato plants in next few weeks. Not sure what else I'll plant. Cucumbers, maybe some beans or peppers.
No other hobbies. If I'm lucky I get 4-5 hours sleep a day. No time for anything else during turkey season including work !
Bowfishing and mtn biker

Yea In some states you only get til noon. You can run dogs, mushroom hunt, shoot your bow or gun, make arrows or shells/bullets, fish, take a nap, whatever til it's time to roost one for tomo.
Besides work..Pull my RoadGlide out to wash it and put the cover back on it for next year. I call it my garage ornament.
Would like to get back into a little trout fishing if time permits.
Sight guns in with my son. That's about it.
musky fishing I have well over 700 lures,,steelhead fishing that I only have to use yarn for.
Bass fishing is my second passion, also I like to go to the forest to gather mushrooms if I can find some extra time. It's very relaxing for me.

Aha. Makes sense now. In Georgia we can hunt all day. So on my days off I generally hunt from daylight until 12-1pm, take a break, then go back around 4-5 until dark.

Between coaching baseball, fishing, picking and pickling ramps, home projects and working out. I have plenty to do. Kinda enjoying the lack of baseball at the moment.
A lot of the same things as everybody else. I just started a new blog to try and give some of my friends a little reading diversion. I'm not real skilled at this blogging, but here's the link if you want to look

Very cool, Dana! ...And a great idea, my friend! Hope you get lots of activity on your site.
Personally, I used to be an avid springtime fisherman, but turkey hunting and things related to it have kind of taken over. Besides going hunting or researching plans for it, I do a little turkey taxidermy, make some calls, and such,...and spend way too much time here. From the beginning of March through May, turkeys,...in some form or another,... are about it for me!
Fishing of all kinds, Morel Mushroom hunting, and I'm starting to dabble in metal detecting and relic hunting.

Crappie fishing! A lot.
Normally I squeeze in as much redfish action as soon as the creeks warm up (had a few blast and cast days over the years). But I am building some of the furniture for my new house, so that is taking up more of my time and fishing is on a back burner. Fortunately, the furniture building is nearly as much fun as the fishing to me. So once turkey is over, I can squeeze in a fishing trip or 10.
This year it will probably be more papers for college with some wild garlic picking thrown in, but with any luck I can be throwing pike streamers and swinging for Atlantic salmon right in time for the balmy weather to roll in.
I do some flintknapping (make stone arrowheads & spearpoints), fish for Crappie from my kayak, edit underwater pictures from dive trips (when the weather's bad).
Jim
Aside from turkey hunting, crappie fishing and running trotlines for catfish are my favorite things to do this time of year.
We bought land that used to be a farm. We plant hundreds of trees per year, and right now are in the middle of a 3 year plan of turning corn/soybean fields into grassland.
If I get the time, I like to arrowhead hunt and mushroom hunt.
I'm in a hunt until noon state only the first half of season.
1. Plant vegetable garden
2. Trout fish
3. Morel hunting
4. Walk my dog
5. Cut firewood
Deer-all weapon seasons
Bass, Red fish and snook
Artifacts
Any water activities
Work
Not necessarily in that order, but work always should be on the bottom of the list!

trout fishing and playing with my children.
Fish some, but our season is fairly long so most of my spring is hunting. I used to love looking for arrowheads but it's very difficult to find any place to look these days.
Love fishing. We have about a 10 acre pond. When I finished hunting today, I put the kayak in the pond and after a couple hours had 23 in the yak. Great day.
Is trail running a hobby or just exercise?

Crappie fishing! A lot.
This!! Only problem is it takes time away from my scouting. And this year my sacalait fishing hasn't been great. Hopefully the turkeys will make up for it!

Sex, hands down.
Mushrooms hunt, golf, talk to farmers, rock hunt, ski, build things for the wife, buy the wife stuff.
Fly fishing for trout and tying flies. Flyfishing is as addicting as turkey hunting. I turkey hunt the morning and fly fish the afternoon to evening! I love the month of May!
I have no other hobbies....I work, when im not working or doing maintenance around the house im hunting. Deer season, trapping season, turkey season, work around the house for a couple months of the summer getting ready for deer season. Then it starts all over. With that said , I work a lot of hours. Not interested in fishing, not interested in ducks, or really anything else. Don't follow sports. My times is 100% occupied with what I do already, and most years I don't even get to trap even though I love it.
Little trout fishing and beyond that, it's work. Been able to get my girls out the last couple days. That's been nice. Aside from that, work. Past couple of years, very little fishing. My business got in the way. Now, with things shut down, I make time and I take my girls along if the choose to go. We've had some fun.
