Title: Benelli Super Nova Choke
Post by: Grobec1 on March 28, 2012, 02:22:11 PM
Posting for a friend. He has a Benelli Super Nova 12 gauge 3 1/2 in with a  26" barrel with a Comp n Choke. He wants to switch from lead to heavy shot. Can he shoot it out of this Choke?
He is also thinking about getting a different choke for it. What choke would you guys recommend for this gun shooting heavy #7's?

I dont think comp-n-choke recommends shooting hevi through their chokes.

Thanks remmy, any choke suggestions for this set up?

I am seeing excellent results with the Benelli barrels, SBE, Nova (Super Nova), etc. any of the Mobil threaded Benelli shotguns, with the Hevi-13 turkey chokes and with the Wright's #3 turkey chokes. They are both rated for lead and Hevi-Shot and throw excellent patterns with those guns.

Thanks,
Clark

I've got a .655 Jellyhead in my Nova and it throws a pretty sweet pattern with hevi #7s.
