The 2 oz load of Winchesters did worse that the 1 7/8 load of 5s in Winchester
Pic of the boxes of ammo to answer any questions of the ammo I used.

I can't get on board with spending the money on Hevi, TSS or Nitro so there is what I shot today. My POI started to the left with my new optic. The silver box of Winchester shot the best... 107@ 40 and it was 38 degrees when we pulled in today. I might of left out a few pics. I shot them all at 30 and 40 at least once. :z-guntootsmiley:
That 40 yd win pattern looks good. Those remmy loads really fell off at 40 though.
I could not believe how bad those rem loads fell apart past 30.
What choke are you using?
I guess that is an important part of the info i forgot to include. Indian Creek BDS .675
that took some effort I just wanted to say thanks for posting. I've had an almost identical disappointing pattern with Win Supreme 2oz 5's in a different couple guns.
Thanks for posting. Saves me a little thought and effort come practice time. Good info
You will kill turkeys no question and you have no reason to be concerned. If it were me, I'd get a tighter choke or increase your payload if you can.
Yeah, I'm going to head out I hope on Monday for a battle of the 3.5"s. I figured this info might help out some newbs that need a place to start. It can be expensive to go out and buy 10 boxes of turkey ammo for most guys just to see what patterns best
My vote for cheaper ammo from your average sporting goods store is WINCHESTER!
That's all I shoot is Winnies ext/ range 3" #6 shot. Their like gold now that Winchester quit making them.
A little powder and a lot of lead makes turkeys very dead.My 835 likes 5s better than 6s oh well.
