Title: Best choke for a new A5
Post by: Midnight Express on February 18, 2017, 05:22:20 PM
Hi everyone,

So, I've decided to take up turkey hunting this year, and I'm looking for advice on which choke to use. I'm shooting a new A5 in 3 1/2" and I'm using Federal 3rd degree shells. Thanks for the help.

I would look at a Truglo ssx choke with 670 - 675 opening. From what i have read Federal 3 rd degree likes a open choke...

Before I spent money on any after-market chokes, I would test the factory full and go from there.

The factory full on mine is VERY tight. Shot a 3"Hvyweight 7 through it and was very impressed.

It doesn't appear they make the SSX for the new A5.
