Brookside Pot Call Kit Question
January 26, 2020, 10:08:38 AM
So it's January. Deer season is over. Turkey season is still a couple months away. What to do? Buy a kit and make some call. It's pretty cheap so why not. The kit came with 4 pot blanks. Purple Heart, Zebra Wood, Padauk, and Mahogany. 4 playing surfaces. Glass, 2 Slate, and Aluminum. 4 sound boards. 3 Glass and 1 Slate. My question is... Does it matter which combination I use when assembling the call? Which wood with which surface with which soundboard? TIA

I would say any combo would work only thing I would caution is that Purple Heart might make a pretty high pitched slate call
