Seeing who shoots a 20 inch 12 ga 835 Ulti-Mag and what choke n shot combo works best for you.
Right now my best pattern out to 50 yds with my gun is with an Indian Creek Black Diamond Strike .675 and my load is Winchester Long Beard, 3.5'', 2 oz., #4's.  What say you?

Hey Jack, I shoot the 835 with the 24 inch barrel but I don't think the 20 is too finicky.  Most 835 and 935's like chokes in the .670 to .676 range for most shells.  Since you have a fine choke with the .675 Indian Creek and shooting LB's, I would recommend a box of 5's or 6's to increase pattern density down range.  The 4's will kill just fine but 5's or 6's should give you a better and more even pattern to your desired distance.  I shoot the .670 Pure Gold with 2 1/4 oz Hevi 7's and they put a hurt on gobblers.  Good Luck.

Thanks Coach,
For some reason I have always been stuck on #4's. Would probably be shooting BB's if they were still legal.I will grab a box of 5's and 6's and give them a try.
