I am currently shooting Nitro 4x5x7 in my .665 Jellyhead and not seeing the #'s that I had hoped for, do yall think I can shoot this choke with success with Hevi 13 #7 in 3.5" or would I be better off with the .660?

My 23" barrel with the .665 and 7's put 302 in 10 at 40.

cannonball

Pattern it and see. It should do a good job for you. Mine put 228 in a 10" at 40 yards with this years shells.

For what it's worth I'm getting great patterns with a Rhino .660 and Nitro 4 X 5 X 7's in my SBE 2.

I will give the #7's through the .665 a try. My Remington is also 23"

My 28" Benelli shot the #7's today putting 275 in 10" @ 40 yds. Thats with a Primos Tightwad .655 don't overlook this cheap little choke, they'll shoot. Today was 75 degrees cloudy, and 60% humidity, I'd bet it will go over 300 with a deep cleaning and less humidity.

My Beretta puts 255 Hevi-13 7's 2 oz. in 10" at 40 yds with a HS Hevi Shot Undertaker .665 so don't discount this choke even though it only costs $20 or so. You might be surprised.
If I had a dollar for every gobbler I thought I fooled I'd be well off!

With the right lot number probably around 300

without a doubt you should try them. you may be surprised with the results!

ILIKEHEVI-13

I couldn't get the Jelly Head .665 or .660 to shot the 7's at all.  Maybe it was my barrel was a little different than some other Rem barrels.  I don't know for sure why others are getting great patterns with their Jelly Head chokes.  All I can tell you is to try it and then you will know.

I have the 11-87 23" with a Jellyhead .660 and the Rem choke that came with the gun. I am getting a slightly better pattern with the Rem choke. I shot both the Hevi Nitro 4x5x7 & their H-#6. The 6s are the best patterning of the  2 loads I had 9 pellets in the kill zone at 50 and I also believe I need to move to at least a .665 or even a .670 to get a tighter pattern at 50-60 yards. My 835 with a Rhino .670 & Nitro's copper 4x5x7 was lethal out to 65 yards. But not with this current set up. I will be getting another Rhino choke .670 and will let ya know what changes.

jfair

Rem 11-87 23" barrel 3.5"  2.25  7's  Jellyhead .665   This is my setup for this year.  I shot one shot of 7's at 40 yards and got 242 in 10".  This is great for me as I won't shoot further than 45 yards.  The nice part is that they had the same POI as the 6's that I sighted the gun in with.  Good luck.

my 1187 with a 23" barrel gets 319 in a 10" circle @40yds with 4x5x7 nitro's out of a .660 rhino
