Season ends for us today and I didn't have any birds left or folks to take so I been at the house all morning listening to one gobble his brains out on the top of the mountain. Just wanted to share a quick photo of the wife who decided she was going to take care of things all on her own this year. The morning she got it done she was climbing a mountain by moonlight at 5:30am while I was still fast asleep, sending me pictures of a bird she'd taken a few hours later while I was still eating breakfast. First bird she's ever killed on her own. To say she was proud, and that I'm proud, would be a tremendous understatement.
P.S. A big, big thank you to EZ for that wingbone hanging around her neck.
