That curly maple sure is pretty.

The least pretty call on the table is the Ribbon Sapele, and she's far from ugly, but she may even sound the best. They all sound as good as they look though, that's guaranteed.

Something like that surely needs to happen, but Jimmy said most, to pretty much all, of his Mahoe is gone. His next batch will be dry in about 18 months, and a straight Mahoe Alum was something I was planning on having him make up. As far as pairing it with Sapele, it could be one of two things, absolutely amazing, or flat disgusting, would probably need a glass sound board to tone things out a little.
