A friend cut a couple of osage orange trees on his farm and let me take a couple of good sized logs :happy0064: - approx 2-3ft long and 14-18in diameter (I may be able to get a little more as well). They're way too large to ship, but I'm in Birmingham and will be travelling to Jackson and Gulfport, MS next week and could meet up along the way or in the area. Shoot me a PM if anyone is interested.

Could you take the scenic way through Massachusetts?   :icon_thumright:

How late does the season run and how expensive are the nonresident tags?  ;D

If I were to cut the logs into disks to make them more shipping friendly, how large do I need to leave them, and would anyone even be interested?

Don't make disk across the grain of the tree unless you are making large disks.  cut it along the length of the tree and make slabs that way.  Guaranteed that you would have no problem getting rid of sections long enough for boxes and pots.
If you can't stand behind our troops.  Feel free to stand in front of them.

You can ship in a usps flat rate box. That is how a guy shipped some to me.
