Gobbling in the Mountain State

Today is the earliest I have ever heard gobblers sound off in the mountains of WV. Heard 6 different birds and one of those 6 was red hot! He gobbled 20 times in just few minute stretch and was still hammering once he flew down. This abnormal weather has them all messed up.

Been scouting on a lease I am part of. Elevation is way up there...highest point is just over 4000'. Only heard a couple on the roost. Heard 3 on the ground this morning.
