Snakewood
Macassar ebony
Tulipwood
Dymondwood
B&W Ebony

They actually sound good on all surfaces, especially glass and aluminum.

Bocote and Snakewood
They both run good on all surfaces.

All of them...lol....
1. Dymondwood
2. Snakewood
3. Padauk

....I've also got a chestnut that can really give you a different sound.  I personally think his strikers are probably the best you can get.  I like that they have a little bit longer length, and they just feel balanced when playing them.
