Mossberg 835 with .683 Carlson Long Beard XR choke fed with Winchester Long Beard Magnum XR 3" #6 shot 1&7/8 oz 1050 fps
70 degrees 280 pellets in a 10" circle at 40 yards

Nice pattern, have you shot it at 20?  Pays to know what your dealing with at close ranges, as we all know most of our shots are well inside 40.

I haven't shot that load at 20 but I have the regular 6 shot long beards. It tight. Here is 30 with the magnums

You might get a lot better 20" if you try the 3.5" load. 10" might drop but overall 20" makes a hunting rig shine.
