Do you guys prefer flared tip or the round tipped strikers? I have been a little bit disappointed with my pot calling this year. I have some great pot calls from some really good call makers. I also have a lot of custom strikers, all with flared tip. Sometimes I sound great, other times, not so much. I was going through my hunting stuff and decided to try some of the old round tip strikers I have.  All of them sounded a lot better.  I may just be a guy who runs a round striker better.  What are you guy's thoughts /opinions?

noisy box call that seems to sound like a flock of juvenile hens pecking their way through a wheat field

I say flat tip also.  Just personal preference.

One piece with a flare tip. Rounds are ok, flat tip won't give me a purr with as much completely as I like.
