What do you consider good, great, and awesome?

Rockhound

That all depends on the size load, size shot, length of barrel, and choke used.

My bad. 3.5" 12 ga. Mag blends.

3" 870 Shell Shucker

If you hadn't of specified the shell, I would have said an even 100+ in 10".

Probably gonna get a bunch of different opinions.  Putting aside any one specific shell and talking strictly numbers here is my personal opinion.

Good = 130-160

Great = 161-199

Awesome = 200-300+

Let the arguing begin!!!  :TooFunny: :TooFunny: :TooFunny:

Well to me shooting Hevi-13 7's in 3.5" at a taped 40yds I would say this.  Now this is with the older stuff.

200 nothing to write home about for sure.
250 would be about avg or decent for most guns and turkey chokes
275 would be what I call good
300 would be what I call excellent
325 would be outstanding
350 or more would be extroadinary

In the older stuff in Hevi-13 3" #7's, I would say this.

200 would be a nice even pattern to kill easily at 40yds.
230 would be a good pattern
250 would be a very good pattern
260-270 would be excellent
280 or more would be outstanding
