I shoot a super black eagle 2 what the jelly head choke tube and Winchester extended-range 3&a half inch number 5 shot they patterns decent I suppose  around 20 pallets in the vital area on a Primos target at 40 yards. my question is who else shoots a super black eagle 2 and what's your recipe and how well does it work I'm always looking for something better.

CrustyRusty

SBE2 and Rhino with hevi 3.5" 6's

nyhunter

I shoot a final strut .665 with H-13 3.5" 2.25oz #6's I get 180-190 in a 10" circle, H-13 with 3.5" 2.25oz #7's 285-300+, with a I.C .665 and win. xtended range 3.5" 2oz #6's i get 170-185 in a 10" circle all at a measured 40 yds    .  Rob Roberts with gobbler gun's was awesome he sent me 5 choke's to compare side by side and then i bought the one the I liked best. My SBEII has a 24" barrel and from what I see the 26's get better patterns.

beagler

Benelli SBE 2
24" barrel
Aimpoint Red Dot Scope
Rhino Choke (.660)
3 1/2" Nitro 4 X 5 X 7's
around 195-205 in the 10
Never Misses

I patterned my SBE2 with a couple of different chokes and found the Hevi choke with Hevi-13 shells to work just fine. With 3" #6 I am getting a consistant 175 pellets in the 10" circle at 40 yards. One round had about 210 holes. Im sure there are better but this works for me.

beagler, I like your set-up! Had pretty much the same but with steady grip and a Burris Extended Eye Relief 1X scope, shot the same load and choke.  Mine would usually do around 250 consistant with the Nitro/Rhino combonation. A friend of mine talked me out of it and I have regreted it ever since!

01Foreman400, does the Marlin 336 base only use two holes or does it span the whole top of reciever? Do you have a close-up picrture of your gun?

Thanks

You will have to get a hole drilled and tapped for this set-up.  The existing holes don't line-up correctly.  You can use one of the existing holes but will have to add one more.
