Down bird – North Florida. Long story... but this was the best turkey hunt I ever had. Birds everywhere... hens actually chasing toms.  This guy flew in and about landed on my decoy. Before he was even able to gain his composer... HEVI #7 put him down.  10 in beard, real heavy bird.  Pic and short vid of pre dawn action..

Congrats on a great bird! Liked your little clip of the roost gobbling. Looks like you were right on the waters edge!
That ol' tom's already dead. He just don't know it yet .... The hard part is convincing him.

I was on the side of a cut pine field. Lots of recent rain.. real wet especially on the edge of field where the skidder ruts are...
