Redneck Salad. Its Whats For Supper

Sorry fellas . No pics. didn't want you drooling on your keyboard.For those of you that ain't been introduced to true food its :
Collard greens
Mustard greens
Turnip greens
Smoked neck bones
Hog jowl
Smoked bacon hunks.
Salt,pepper.and garlic powder to taste
Dump it all in a big ol pot with a couple inches of water and let it simmer for 6 to 8 hours.Grab a hunk of cornbread and chow down.

Yep and a bottle of pepper juice to season after you pile it on your plate!

That sounds good!
A buddy of mine will let his greens simmer then put them in a big cast iron cooker and drizzle some molasses over them and then cook'em down.

I've tried them sweet but didn't like them as much. They are good with the pepper sauce though.

I grew up eatin Neck Bone and potata's, Turnip green's and Jowl bacon. Everything was cooked in bacon grease too. I sure do miss my mom!
