I rarely use deeks but was wondering what setup you think would be more apt to push a longbeard over the edge to come in
1. A single hen and a jake
Or
2. 3/4 hens and a jake

What's your thoughts?

If I only have 1 decoy it is a standing jake. If I have 2, it is a full strutter and a standing hen. If I have 3, it is a full strutter, standing hen, and standing jake. This set up for me has been real productive for me. I use decoys very sparingly in thick woods, there is where I choose to use the standing jake the most. Open woods I'll use my field setup of 2 or 3 decoys. That is just the way I do things.
