Cops, FBI, Secret Service don't carry FMJ.  Guess why?  They are looking for maximum stopping power.
Hunting bullets, not FMJ.  Same reason.

Don't have a 9mm, I have 357's and 45's.  They all have Hydra Shok.  If I had a 9 it would have Hydra Shok also.

They also do not use FMJ because it will not stop through a wall or etc and can possibly hit someone a ways away.  A hollow point will use all its energy in what it hits and thus great slows on impact, which creats the stopping power from transferring energy.
