My dad is deathly afraid of snakes and we are heading out to the pine ridge region of nebraska to hunt merriams.  I did some looking and found out that the only snake to worry about in that region is a prairie rattler.  Anyone know if they are a common sight in that region.  Has anyone had any problems with them?
