Great Morning In the Turkey Woods...

Buddy came down from upstate last night to hunt with me for a few days.  Hit some public woods this morning and had one of the quickest hunts ever.  Bird started gobbling on the roost, we set up, I gave him a few yelps, he answered back in the tree.  It wasn't a minute later my buddy said I see him!  Heck all you could see is that big white head coming through the swamp.  Booommm! Done..

My turn.  Got out there and hit a piece of private I've always wanted to kill a bird at.  Got one cranked up he came right to us but stopped 30 yards and hung up behind some thick stuff spittin and drummin and gobbling.  I needed him to take 2 more steps.  I eased my hand down scratched in the leaves and purred one time.  That was it he broke struck and took a couple steps.  Number two for the morning down.  Both good birds.
