This is my first time I have ever patterned my gun. It was a dirty gun and shot this at 30 yard with 78 degree weather. I am using Hevi shot magnum blend with a tight wad choke in a Nova 12 ga. It had 222 in the 7 inch circle. Any tips or suggestions other than clean my gun? I am new to patterning my gun.

Other than cleaning the barrel, nope. That looks like a pretty good pattern!

Looks like you're ready for Mr. Tom!
If I had a dollar for every gobbler I thought I fooled I'd be well off!

I'd say you are ready to spread that pattern on a tom.

I am soon going to Bass Pro to buy the same load.

The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

Well I decided not to shoot it again cause the shots are so expensive. But I did kill 2 birds with this set up this weekend :z-guntootsmiley: 1 at 35 yards and the other at 43 yards. So Im just gonna stick with it and maybe try some more combos next year.
