I shot my browning gold and new tss loads yesterday and the numbers were low. I think I may need a little tighter choke. Let me know what you guys think.
Browning gold, polished, 24" bbl, 70deg, 60%humity, 40yds.

this pattern was with the browning xfull .698 choke and 2oz tss 9's:
209 in 10", 368 in 20" = 577 total

This pattern was with Pure Gold .696 and 2oz tss 9"s:
233 in 10", 314 in 20" = 547 total

This pattern was with Pure Gold .969 and 20z tss 8x9's:
210 in 10", 302 in 20" = 512 total

Yes these are Hals loads. I am using 20gr buffer. This gun with a pure gold .670 and 2 1/8 oz hevi 7.5 handloads will put 310-360 in the 10" and 275-310 in the 20".

You are putting over 500 pellets in the 20" circle with a nice central core of >200.  Not amazing numbers.  If you came down to a .685 you will likely get what you are looking for.  Kick's I think offers a .680 and .685 and you can exchange until you get what you are looking for.  Camo is on sale for $55 right now.

I think I figured it out. Looks like Sugarray has it right.  :z-winnersmiley: I just shot the 2oz TSS 9's out of my PG .670. It didn't blow the pattern as much as I thought it would. I thimk a .680 or .685 would be what I am looking for. I may have to check out that kicks.
Got 404 in the 10", 246 in the 20" = 650 total:
