Finally got numbers im very pleased out of the ssx and hevis. First shot was cleaned, second shot right after first without swabbing barrel or anything. Just racked another one in.

Rem 870 special purpose with ssx choke. Hevi mag blends. 3" 2 oz. first shot 191 in 10" at 40 yards, second shot 213 in 10" at 40 yards.

Thanks I was gonna change poi bc I tend to be anal about it hitting exactly where im aiming but then I thought about it, if I aim at waddles with the way it is now, smoke head lol so its good to go and in the gun cabinent lol

I always set mine to shoot a little high and aim at the waddles or base of the neck. That way some pellets catch the head, neck, and top of the breast.

No I havent tried that one. I have a primos tightwad on the way and that will be my last choke for this year but before next season I am either gonna get the hevi 13 choke, indian creek or the pure gold

Looks good.  I see you got some better numbers on the second shot.  Mine has been doing the same thing. 

I got 221 then 225 the other day out my pure gold with a 26" barrel. 

I figured that was sufficient enough.

Both are great and better than I got out of a JH .660 with the magblends in my 870 SM!
