How do you finish a delrin mouthpiece?  I have been making my calls using other material for mouthpieces.  Recently I found a local place the handles delrin and made a mouthpiece out of delrin.  I tried to finish it and the results were below my standard.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for you time and consideration.

I sand to 1200 and then buff, you have to watch the heat close. No other finish is necessary.

Thanks for the reply.  Will try your suggestion.

Thanks again for your time and consideration.

Bonjour

Just remember that delrin never really shines up very good, and usually dulls up pretty quick. It is synthetic so no finish is needed.

Thanks for your feedback.  I am probably going to concentrate on other materials.

Have a great day and may God bless you today.
