Alright guys so I have ran across this many times bf and I was wondering what your opinions would be. When im looking for some wood to buy and I ask the seller what is the moisture content, I usually get the response its kiln dry and if they tell me what the moisture content is, I usually get 8-15%. I am wondering what is the highest moisture content your guys will use to turn wood and I know the type of wood is a factor. I thought about trying up to 15% but just havent got myself to do it yet.

I've always been told 6-8% is optimal..

I am fine with any wood in single digits.
