stone road turkey calls

can anyone tell me where i can find a sawmill in the atlanta area? i have some old 3x6 oak beams from my barn i need to get cut.

If the beams are long and you want the beams resawn into planks then you need a sawmill. If you want to make pot calls out of the wood, then you just need it resawn into 1 X 3.5 inch pieces. Cut off a 12 inch piece with a chain saw or hand saw then run it through a band saw. There's probably a Woodcraft store in the Atlanta area. The guys who work there can probably do this for you or refer you to a buddy who can. A sawmill will cost a lot but a guy with a band saw in his home shop would probably do it in exchange for a call.
