Sometimes Having A Misfire Is Good Thing

A Misfire trumpet that is.  ;)

Got a couple of nice gobblers last few days.

First one came in to some soft (blind) calling without saying a word, and a hen was following him. Had 4 beards. Had my Xbow on that one and I use a decoy when hunting with it.

The second one I got the lead hen all riled up and she came in all puffed up and purring aggressively. She was so mad I was glad to be holding a shotgun.   ;D  Towed a limbhanger behind her.

Couldn't agree more on the Misfire trumpet. I always have one when I'm hunting. Congrats on two fine gobblers.

Congratulations.  Mr. Cadwick's calls are excellent but you still have to be able to talk turkey.  Can't wait to get my "Misfire" in the woods again here in Michigan.
