Jeff Harrison / JLH Strikers .... was able to get his hands on some of these blanks. Sinker Bullet Tree has a janka hardness 2,300 and Sinker Sapodilla is 2,970. He said once these blanks are gone, there will never be anymore ... ever... in our lifetime. These are truly once in a lifetime strikers. from the late 1600's to the early 1900's many species of timber were harvested in Central America. The history and gathering of these types of timber have amazing historical value. So check out the information and history behind these woods on the internet... You can check these strikers out on Jeff's Facebook page... I just wanted to share this with everyone ....

Great wood for calls in general.  I have the sinker bullet tree.  Super hard and super heavy.
